The architectural style of new residences constructed within the Estate is guided by The Neighbourhood Design Rules. Options include the Contemporary Barn Style, Homestead Style and Modern Stoep Style. These styles work together to create an aesthetically harmonious environment and sense of neighbourliness, without treading on the privacy and peacefulness that the Estate offers. These styles are inspired by the architectural heritage of the area, and the local vernacular. Detail on the specific styles is provided in the Aesthetic Rules.Download Brochure
All homes in the Estate are required to be contextually sympathetic to the cultural heritage and natural topography of this part of Johannesburg, as well as natural features of the Estate itself. To this end, all new homes designed within the Estate must be submitted to The Neighbourhood Design Review Panel to ensure that the overall look and feel of the Estate is preserved while also upholding the collective best interest of all owners. The process for submission as well as the rules and regulations are all set out in the Neighbourhood Design Rules, which can be downloaded below.Download Brochure
